Stretching exercises are helpful and beneficial  to those who have tightness and other impairments. Way back then up to present, health care professionals uses static stretching to elongate the tight muscle. It is a commonly used method of stretching in which tissues are elongated just past the point of tissue resistance and then held in the lengthened position with a sustained stretch force over a period of time.


Ki-hara resistance stretching another type of stretching which uses eccentric contraction wherein muscle from shortened and contracted position will go  lengthened position while under some load
