A study was done to establish a rehabilitation support group for caregiver of persons  disability in Barangay Langkiwa, Binan City, Laguna. After surveying the area, PWD's and their caregivers were identified. Caregivers were asked to accomplish a questionnaire about their knowledge of disability, preparedness to take care of PWD and their willingness to have a rehabilitation support group. Guidelines on how to take care of their physical and emotional health, instructions about useful techniques in handling and assisting PWDs with provided o the caregivers. Respondents of the study provide care for PWDs with medical conditions like stroke, cerebral palsy. Down Syndrome, meningitis, global developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and mineral deficiency. Forty seven percent of the caregivers knowledgeable about he medical conditions of their wards. Those who don't have any idea about the illness are not aware of what to do with PWDs. Fifty eight percent of caregivers know how to take care of a disabled family member. Al the respondents expressed their desire to have a rehabilitation support group be established in their residential . The learning program provided  significantly improved readiness of caregivers to provide care to PWDs.Caregivers who underwent the training will serve as rehabilitation support group to peers.Regular monitoring must be done to check if the program is followed and executed properly.
