Based on the findings, the following conclusions were derived:
1. There was a reduced and/or absence of motor activities (i.e. inactiveness) in all the test animals
2. Higher concentrations of the mahogany seed extract produce a slower onset of action and a rapid or faster onset of action of lower concentrations of the mahogany seed extract.
3. Increasing concentrations of the mahogany seed extract produce a longer duration of effect.
4. The mahogany seed extract produces parasympathetic and vagal effects.
5. The mahogany seed extract produced a decreased activity of the heart. This would imply therefore that there would be a fall on blood presure of the test animals.
6. The mahogany seed extract produced a diuretic effect based on the parameters used. This presents a possibility that mahogany seed extract might be useful in treating hypertension.
